Why We Exist

Powering people with food and stages with electricity…organising tech equipment and being creative with installations and site design: welcome to the Production and World Building Working Group. Our work is split into four main groups:

Tech and programming: We develop programming and manage the stage, sound and power kit at actions and events.

Sustenance: This is every rebel’s favourite group! We’re the ones who feed rebels during actions and provide endless cups of tea and cake to all.

Logistics: If equipment is needed for an action, we’re the ones to ask.

Design and build: A creative, hands-on team that’s looking to design and build 3D structures and installations like the cubes outside the Tate Modern in the October Rebellion.

What We Do

We’re currently developing ideas for how to make food and drink chariots to support people at actions or community events. We’re also sourcing sound and power equipment and will be providing training on how to set up and run it.

Who We Need

We always need more people with hands-on, technical skills to help us build amazing structures and manage tech and sound equipment. If you’re an organised person with a love of lists we’ll find a space for you on the planning side of things.
