Why We Exist
The Arts Working Group communicates XR’s identity and articulates our messaging through beautiful and inspiring projects, banners, flags, block printing, street painting and much more.
What We Do
Arts is in the process of building up a stock of banners to replace those lost during the October Rebellion. We also produced banners and windsocks for the Stop Bristol Airport Expansion campaign and the Enough is Enough march, and have been getting creative for Window Wanderland. We’ve got plenty more creative things on the horizon: ongoing projects like Paint The Streets (decorating Bristol with XR artwork), and action-specific plans that we always welcome more help with. We run a monthly ‘making arts day’ for anyone to get involved. Details of our next one can be found here.
Who We Need
We’re specifically looking for muralists, street artists and graphic designers experienced in layout at the moment. But if you’ve got any kind of creative flair or artistic background we’d love to hear from you!
